Sometimes people may take it wrong,but it's need arises.Follow the simple steps given below to delete your gmail account

• Sign in to your Gmail account.
• Click on your name or email address at the top of the page, and then select Account settings from the drop-down menu.
• In the "My products" section, click the Edit.

In the new window,you will see following options,choose according to your requirements

Please do it carefully,once deleted it will be very hard to recover.

Create a new Gmail account and under Settings –> Accounts and Import –> Check mail using POP3 –> Add POP3 email account; enter the email address of your main Gmail account that you want to backup.

Here enter the details of the account about which you want to make backup

Once again fill your usename and password and select "add account"

Find Gmail account creation date

Follow the steps given below to do the same:

1. 1st sign in your gmail account 
2. Go to Settings -> Forwarding and POP/IMAP and under POP Download Status: POP is enabled for all mail that has arrived since YOUR DATE.

Enable it and click save changes.Reopen it and VOILA,you will see date of your account creation.

This is rarely used but most important in case your gmail is permanently deleted and recovery period is over.

Then login again

You will see this screen

Click on start setup

After that this screen will come

• Automatically your phone no. will come,if not put it manually.
• Select text message or voice call option,as per your preference

After filling all information,click on send code and fill this form with the code you receive on your mobile

Click on verify.That's it.

Now whenever someone will open your account,gmail will send a verification code to your phone and ONLY after putting this code on the screen,you can login,that means your account is fully protected against hackers.Enjoy!!!!
